Everyone is different in this World. The Good, the Bad, and the Evil.
When a neighbor goes out of their way to make it unpleasant for a homeowner next door for years, that isn't very nice. And when finally the homeowner wants to sell to retire and move out of state, the last thing they need is for that evil neighbor to approach buyers who just left your home. That's right. Just happened two days ago, Imagine the buyers loved the home, left and told the agent they will call to make an appointment to give an offer.
Since the agent had other buyers in the home, she escorted the clients to the door and said I will wait for your call and said goodnight. (Big mistake) Why? When clients left, the neighbor next door ran over to bad mouth the owner of the house for sale. So to the point, the buyers didn't want to make an offer no longer to buy and live next door to a nut. They called and told us so the very next day.
Not knowing what kind of neighbor lived next door, is a lesson to all. The only remedy seems to be that an agent should be sure the clients leaving are escorted to their car. Imagine loosing a potential deal because of this action. Agents and Brokers beware!
The neighbor from hell will get their Karma big time in the future.
